"The disciplines  ― kind of dissolve" Is a line in the following video of Michael Shanks' talk at the 20th Anniversary Symposium of The Bard Graduate Center in New York this year.

He has some interesting things to say about archaeology, research, and design, but I won't spoil it with extraneous commentary:
